On a Cold Winter’s Night …

It’s been a long, snowy day. After a hearty dinner of stuffed shells, I’m planning to wrap presents by the tree and then burrow under the blankets and read.

There could be more snow and ice tonight, so the idea of being inside, warm and cozy, surrounded by the glow of my tree, fills my heart with thankfulness.

Plus, there’s some cookie dough in my fridge that’s begging to baked …

On a cold, snowy winter’s night, there’s nothing like warm blankets, the soft glow of a Christmas tree, a thick novel full of beautiful words, and warm chocolate chip cookies from the oven.

Stay warm tonight.
