Happy Holidays

Happy Christmas Eve! :-)

I have lots of joyful Christmas activities planned for this weekend, so I won’t be blogging very much, but I’ll be back early next week to share Christmas details, as well as a few peeks into my Sketchbook Project.

Plus, I have some fun ideas for this little blog of mine to celebrate the New Year. I’m going to be kicking off a weekly wardrobe feature, for example, sharing more photo shoots like this one, and posting some inspiring Q&As with talented crafty ladies. So, 2011 is looking like it will be filled with inspiration and loveliness.

As I reflect on the past year, I’ve been loving Sufjan Stevens’ version of Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing. Take a listen below, if you like. :-)

The words to this hymn are so beautiful and true…

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
Teach me some melodious sonnet,
Sung by flaming tongues above.
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it,
Mount of Thy unchanging love.

2010 has been a year of growth and change for me, and even on those days I didn’t seek the Lord as I should have, He was faithful and patient, loving and true. As I begin 2011, I do pray that He will take my heart and seal it for thy courts above.

Many blessings to you and yours,
