Let’s Get Creative

More inspiration from Work is Not a Job.

Can’t wait to do a little creative brainstorming and list making in my journal this weekend. :)

Where do you go/what do you do for creative inspiration?

Happy weekend!

Ooh, great video! Thanks for sharing that! Really great tips in there. I do a lot of the things they listed in the video. Going for walks tends to help me. Having some time alone to just think and allow ideas to come helps me, too. Music, movies, quotes, people, life experiences, bits and pieces of things I observe, colors, textures, things I’m learning from God… it all goes in to my creative outlets. I have a blessings art journal that I recently started and I love doing that. I’ll write, draw, sketch, collage and will hopefully soon be painting as I literally count my blessings. That’s a great way for me to get creative and focus my heart in a good place. :)

Thanks for visiting, Kristin! :) Love your list of ways you stay creatively inspired! I keep a lot of journals myself. I list blessings/gratitudes, prayers, dreams, etc. I also keep art journals. :) And I love that you said that things you’re learning from God also serve as inspiration for you. I feel so thankful He gave me a creative heart. His creativity is limitless, and it’s exciting that He shares that with us and can inspire us and teach us in so many different ways. I look forward to exploring your blog! Thanks again for stopping by. :)
