Sketchbook Project

A sketchbook is a place to put your heart and soul.

Let it out into the wild; we’ll keep you connected.

We know how precious a sketchbook is. You carry it with you everywhere, spending months working on it. It becomes a part of you. When you’re finished, share your hard work with the world. We’ll make sure you stay connected with your sketchbook as it tours the country and after we catalog it in The Brooklyn Art Library.

~ From the Art House Co-op’s website

For the last few months, I’ve been working on my sketchbook for this year’s tour. I chose the In Flight theme, and I’ve truly enjoyed watching my sketchbook take shape and evolve.

Wow! I loved all of the pages! The colors were great, and they went so well with your words and pictures! Super job, Katie! No wonder you felt like holding on to this book.

Thank you so much! :) It was a challenging project, but it was so rewarding to watch the book take shape. A story of sorts developed as I created, and it’s really a wonderful feeling to look back through the pages and see it come to life. Thanks for visiting and taking a look at my project!

Those are gorgeous. I think they should be printed on journals. Have they? Well done. You are a great artist.

Thank you so much! :) Making art is a fairly new hobby for me, so it means so much to read your kind words of encouragement. I’ve started selling some of my pieces at local shows and hope to set up an Etsy shop some day. :)
