Inspired Style: Fall Colors & Scents

I’ve been picking up a few new colors for fall and am having fun experimenting with new shades on my lips and nails.

I’ve also started wearing my favorite fall and winter perfume again: Flowerbomb. In the last year, I’ve started switching my perfume out with the seasons. I think it’s a great way to transition from season to season, and because scents are such memory-evokers for me, I like being able to associate different scents with different seasons. I buy the small rollerball applicators, because it’s an affordable way to change out what you’re wearing (and it’s also convenient because they fit right in your purse!).

Another wintry scent I love is amber, so I’m looking for a cozy, but not overpowering, amber perfume that I might use this season, as well. Any recommendations? What are your favorite fall scents and colors?

Inspired Style: Polka Dots

You all know I love polka dots, so how could I resist doing an Inspired Style polka-dot post?

I’m loving all of the polka-dot printed items showing up this fall. And if anyone knows how to rock a polka-dot pattern, it’s Kate Spade NY.

So far, I’ve acquired a polka-dot scarf for the fall, and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect polka-dotted pant. ;)

Inspired Style: Scarves, Scarves, + More Scarves!

Confession: I love scarves. It’s true. They’re one of my favorite fall accessories for sure. Check out the adorable video above from the tremendously talented Bri Emery of Designlovefest. Not only is it a super-cute video, but you can also get some ideas for fun new ways to wear your scarves.

These are my newest additions to my scarf collection. I think the one with polka dots is my favorite (but that’s no surprise, is it?). ;)
